Christmas performances & dates

Please note that key Christmas dates & performance times are listed towards the end of this newsletter. Our aim is to try and ensure that parents are not inundated with emails at this time of year but if you do have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Parent Forum

On Wednesday 27th November (9am & 6pm) Mr Rafferty will be running a parent forum. This is a chance to find out more about some of the plans the school has in place and to ask any questions that you may have. The morning session will be held in the computer suite and in the evening we will be in the hall. For both please come straight to the school office.

Hot Chocolate Friday

This weeks achievers are: Catherine, Jack, Niamh, Summer, Heidi, Evie, Aria, Charlotte, Emilia and Noah

Star Writers

This weeks Star Writers are: Anna, Mazie, Hermes, Charlie, Flynn, Eliza, Thea, Oliver and Hannah


Well done to our teams who took part in last weeks Level 2 Football. The children all showed great sportsmanship and represented the school brilliantly.

Good luck to our Girls team and Boys A team who will be taking part in the Play Offs for the Level 3 games next Friday.

All clubs will be finishing next week, apart from T-Trak and Recorder Club.

KS2 Christmas Performance

The children have begun their rehearsals for the KS2 Christmas play. To help them learn the songs, they can access the music on the "Easy Peasy Plays" website. Select Santa and the Beanstalk from the Click n Sing Song bank.

Angel Costumes Needed

Reception need more angel costumes for their nativity play. If you have a suitable costume aged 4-5 or 5-6 that you could lend them, please bring it in a named bag to the school office.

Bee Hives

Rabbits' class would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Santoro for coming into class to talk about her Bee hive.

Books for Schools

The Sun newspaper is running a book for schools campaign. They will be printing tokens in their papers between 23rd November and 18th January. If you or any friends or family have tokens, please bring them to the school office.


Christmas Fair

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets have now been sent home, don't forget to sell them to family, friends and neighbours; there are some great prizes this year!

Non Uniform Day

There will be a mufti (non-uniform) day on Friday 29th November, where we ask you to bring in any unwanted toys and Gifts for the tombola stall.


We are also still asking for donations of cuddly toys, scarves, brown paper, tissue paper and small boxes to the office please.

Tea Towels

Don't forget to hand your tea towel order forms into the office before the end of next week.

Vote for your preferred next FOMPS purchase:

FOMPS agreed with Mr Rafferty at the AGM to fund a new cycle /scooter storage shelter for KS1 playground and a large bird identification board for the outdoor classroom.
