“Druids Altar has a good attitude and stays well, Hugh said he would have been better off with a bit of company. He had been running in top-class company before this and it's nice to get his head in front again,. He stays and copes with most ground" - Brendan Powell
RP ANALYSIS: A good solid performance from the winner who appreciated the drop in class. DRUID'S ALTAR had no Zanahiyr or Teahupoo to worry about here and he showed the qualities he does possess. Notwithstanding an early mistake, his jumping was good through the race and he also displayed a good attitude from the last when the runner-up came to challenge, really knuckling down well and staying on strongly up the hill. He shapes like a horse that would go well in a big-field handicap hurdle and he might not have to wait long for that opportunity to transpire.
