Leveling the Playing Field By: Kierra johnson-graham

Women who play in professional sports are put second against the men who play professional sports. Even though the money does not define them, it still is not a reason for the unequal pay.
Shows like Sports Center are those who put a great amount of effort into broadcasting men's sports over women, which results in the uneven time of media coverage for both genders.
Most positions in the professional career field such as referees, journalists, and announcers are filled by the male gender. Gender inequality is a huge issue in professional sports, and if women want to make a change they should be in the appropriate position so they are able to do so.
