First Aid at Work +P

Ports Operations First Aid Training Courses

Modern day port operations involve several professions working together in close proximity to others generally focused on their own work rather than that of those around them. The possibility of major injury is never far away and Crane Operator’s, Stevedores, Merchant Seamen and Banks-men may be called to attend an incident that could involve major trauma injuries including life threatening crush injuries falling from height, being hit by vehicles or large moving objects and materials.

With a background in similar industries including time spent with the Royal Engineers working in and around the areas of Chatham Docks and the Medway as a boat operator to assisting civilian and naval ships operating from the Falkland Islands and working with companies like Smitt International and BP at their Hound Point Tanker terminal, This broad back ground in personal experience and skills have lead me to developed a course that is suitable for all industries working in and around major Port Operations.
