20th & 21th history

My country is south Korea in Asia. South Korea previous name is Joseon, and (The republic Korea) Korean empire. When to Korean empire, type of government is absolute monarchy.

The Absolute monarchy definition of absolute monarchy is rule by one person - A monarch, usually a king or queen - whose actions are restricted neither by written law nor by custom.

Korea has been damaged since 1910, because of Japanese. The name is Korea under Japanese rule. Korea under Japanese rule began with the end of the Joseon dynastic monarchy in Korea in 1910 and ended at the conclusion of World War II in 1945. Japanese rule of Korea was the outcome of a process that began with the Japan–Korea Treaty of 1876, whereby a complex coalition of Meiji government, military, and business officials sought to integrate Korea both politically and economically into the Empire of Japan.

In the aftermath of the Japanese occupation of Korea which ended with Japan's defeat in world war II in 1945, Korea was divided the 38th parallel north in accordance with a United Nations arrangement, to be administered by the Soviet Union in the north and the United States in the south. The soviets and Americans were unable to agree on the implementation of Joint Trusteeship over Korea. This led in 1948 to the legitimate government of two separate governments, each claiming to be the two separate government stabilized into the existing political entities of north and south Korea. South Korea's subsequent history is marked by alternating periods of democratic and autocratic rule.

The Democracy definition is a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
