Marco Polo and The Silk Road
The reopening of the Silk Road helped spark the Renaissance. The mongols took over China and they made the Silk Road safe again. In the text it states that “They once again made the roads safer for travelers and traders” (Holt 299). The textual evidence is meaning that Mongols had made the reopening of the Silk Road safer. In conclusion, that is how it helped spark the reopening of the Silk Road.

"Ever since, people have enjoyed the beauty of Shakespeare's language and his understanding of humanity"(holt 317). These quotes are important because they describe why William had so many people liking him and his plays and stuff.
