Marco Polo and The Silk Road

The reopening of the Silk Road helped spark the Renaissance. The mongols took over China and they made the Silk Road safe again. In the text it states that “They once again made the roads safer for travelers and traders” (Holt 299). The textual evidence is meaning that Mongols had made the reopening of the Silk Road safer. In conclusion, that is how it helped spark the reopening of the Silk Road.

Rediscovering the Past(Greek and Roman

Greek and romans classical ideas helped the Renaissance by letting the Renaissance creat beautiful art. In the text it states that"The aim of much Renaissance art was to show the importance of people and nature, not just religious ideas."(documents). This is important because it similar to Greek and Roman art. In conclusion, that the Greeks and Romans helped the Renaissance make art.

Leonardo de Vinci is a painter and he was a sculpture. He made the Mona Lisa and that was the most famous art piece. He created the last supper and he has some many inventions he created.

These pictures show how people used to write and print on paper. People had to have what they wanted to write and put ink on it and put paper on top.

Renaissance writing (William Shakespeare)

Shakespeare writing reflected the idea of humanism by people believing that they are amazing and important. His writings attracted So much people is because it wasn't in Italian it was in English so everyone could understand it. In the text it states that "The following passage reflects the Renaissance idea that each human being is important"(holt 317). "Ever since, people have enjoyed the beauty of Shakespeare's language and his understanding of humanity"(holt 317). These quotes are important because they describe why William had so many people liking him and his plays and stuff. In conclusion, that is why people enjoyed William Shakespeare and his plays and other things he did.
