80% Club 2014-2015

We have wrapped up our fall portion of open field and weight lifting. Congratulations to Spencer Fry and Owen Wiles on PERFECT ATTENDANCE so far this offseason. Players with excellent attendance at open field were Jake Barnes, Spencer Bowles, Tyce Carroll, Gage Rosenfeld, Nick Sprinkle, Caleb Wiles, and Tyler Wilson. Excellent attendance in the weight room included Jake Barnes, Tyce Carroll, Chase Hamilton, Adam Leising, and Caleb Wiles. Also special thank you to players improving in advanced PE/weight class.

The schedule for the months of January and February are posted on the website and on the link below. A few reminders:

  • In-season players must have permission from the current season coach
  • If we have a 2 hour delay, morning sessions are cancelled
  • If we do not have school, all sessions are cancelled
  • Players should regularly check their school Google Drive accounts

The 2016 game schedule is complete. As always, the schedule is subject to change. The complete schedule is below and also located on the team website.

The IHSAA sets the start date for baseball. That date for this season is March 14, 2016. Our first contest is against conference and sectional rival Batesville on March 31, 2016. This means we must practice over spring break in order to complete the practice requirements. Players will be expected to attend these practices if they make the team.

The current schedule is to have try-outs March 14-16, followed by practice March 17-19. We will not practice March 20-23. We will practice every available day from March 24 through March 30 (all except Sunday, March 27).

POTENTIAL PLAYERS should advise Coach Harpring as soon as possible of any possible conflict and be aware that missing practices could have consequences.
