Supporting your child's Reading during Lockdown Worsbrough Common Primary School

At WCPS we are committed to ensuring that all of our children become confident and fluent readers who are passionate about books. This does not stop during lockdown! We aim to ensure that children still have opportunities to change reading books and have access to high quality texts.

Book Swap Thursday!

Every Thursday Lottie, Lisa and Mrs Ainley will be transporting our library to the Worsbrough Common Community Centre, Warren Quarry Lane, S70 4ND. Parents and Carers are able to come along and exchange reading books. You can incorporate this into your daily exercise and very strict social distancing measures will be in place at all times. You will be asked to wait outside while we change books for you and give you a new selection of books. We will be available from 1pm-3pm each week and will aim to help you with any questions or concerns you may have around your child's reading.

If you live further away from school and cannot access this service if you contact us to let us know that you need new reading books through this link BOOK SWAP we will aim to provide you with new books as soon as possible.
