Japan: Touring the House of the Rising Sun January 2018

"Does it snow in Japan?"

Fair warning: You may not see the sun (or much of anything) for the entire trip.

Join us for a week of touring some of the deepest, lightest, fun-est snow on the planet. Consistent daily snowfall from January until March makes Japan the best place to be if you like your winters cold, deep and blower.

We are working with some of the best guides in the business to provide an opportunity to get off the beaten path to enjoy the less developed backcountry areas on Hokkaido, Japan's north island.

Japan done the traditional way.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy Japanese hospitality in small, family owned lodging, relax in the onsen and enjoy the outstanding food the north island is known for.

We find that the pace is a bit slower in Japan: A handful of descents are all that is likely, but each one is sure to be the best of the trip.

Getting deep. Somewhere in Japan.
