Eni Congo has launched RFID technology implementation in order to achieve a better operating efficiency and accuracy on logistics, warehousing and inventory processes.

Base Industrielle was selected for the development of a RFID solution, so to evaluate operating advantages, savings and eventual constraints.

Project scope covers all material typologies that are usually stored in an Upstream O&G warehouse. The main focus is on tubulars used for drilling.

The overall solution has been customized and specifically designed for E&P with the partnership of a leader company in RFID technology in Italy. The solution can be further extended for HSE.

Project objectives
