Villa Loyola is a “home away from home” in the secure gated community of Mammee Bay Estate, located on the north coast of Jamaica, close to the main resort town of Ocho Rios and about 95 kilometres east of Montego Bay Airport.

Villa Loyola is the perfect place for those who want a more laidback experience, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Our Heal Your Life Yoga Retreat has a dedicated team of staff who are available from the moment you arrive to ensure your stay and time spent is stress and worry free.These include facilitators Chyna and Tracey who can answer all questions and queries relating to your stay; housekeepers who clean rooms daily and provide laundry and ironing services as required; and a driver with transportation.

Chyna Whyne

Host Chyna Whyne is a Celebrity Kemetic Yoga Teacher, fashion model, TV presenter, voice coach, and singer/songwriter who has toured and recorded with rock and pop music legends such Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, The Who, and Seal.

After working in the music and fashion industries for many years, Chyna realised that to maintain an uncompromisingly holistic lifestyle takes a certain amount of determination, energy, and focus.

Chyna’s self-development took her on a journey of healing through meditation, yoga, healthy eating, self-nurture, and conscious awareness in order to draw on her natural energies to maintain the fast and furious pace of the entertainment world.

Heal Your Life Retreats encourage all participants to naturally transform and open up to healing. Expect to be renovated in a supportive environment with two daily yoga practices, healthy eating, Alexander Technique sessions, meditation, spa treatments, cultural day trips, and plenty of rest.

DAY 1

VILLA LOYOLA

On your day of arrival, you will have a chance to settle in, relax, and take it easy after your travel to Jamaica. The climate can take some getting used to so we encourage you to drink plenty of water and use the first day to acclimatize. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

DAY 2

Meditation

On the morning after your arrival, visualization and meditation sunrise yoga practice takes place on the beach (weather permitting) for one hour.

KEMETIC YOGA ON THE BEACH

Kemetic Yoga uses controlled breathing, in combination with poses inspired by Egyptian hieroglyphics, to bring your mind and body to a heightened state of relaxation. During your practise, you will be guided through a gentle series of postures and breathing techniques which ease any physical, emotional, and spiritual tension held by your body.

DAY 2 TIME TABLE

Day 3

Day three is exciting and special. Usually, transformations are about to take place on a deeper level and emotions can be stirred up.

Everyone is different so this may not be the case for you. If it is, gently allow yourself to go with how you are feeling and you may use a powerful mantra like ''I let go and let God''. Tears are always a sign of “letting go”.

Time is set aside for you to capture your emotions and feelings on paper or in a journal, allowing yourself time to feel think, heal, and reflect.

DAY 3 TIME TABLE

DAY 4

Day five is for relaxation. No yoga or meditation. Enjoy some treatments at the spa where you will receive a full body massage with marijuana/CBD oil and a clay anti-aging facial. Release stress, tension, worries, and concerns. Delight in the pleasure of being totally pampered throughout the day.

BLUE HOLE

On day six we have morning meditation and yoga before visiting the amazing Natures Blue River. Embrace the surroundings of natural greenery, view the beauty of the Caribbean Sea, and experience the cascading waterfalls massage your body - feel refreshed and revitalized.

Today you you are given the opportunity to experience the power of the Alexander Technique.

The Alexander Technique teaches you how to achieve perfect posture, and relief neck back and shoulder pain. This technique helps you to walk upright with confidence and ease. Men and women can benefit The Alexander Technique is the foundation principle to balance and poise.. 'posture speaks volumes'

DAY 6 TIME TABLE

Today you prepare to leave. Use this time to reflect on your week, write in your journal, take a gentle stroll to the beach, or visit the local craft market to purchase gifts and souvenirs in preparation for your trip back home.
