Did not allow an earned run in seven outings.
  • 2016: Led the team with four saves. Finished tied for fifth in conference in saves. Tied for the team-lead in appearances with 14. Owned a 5.14 ERA in 21.0 innings of work. Opened the season with 5.1 scoreless innings of relief. Picked up saves in his first two appearances. Collected his first win after tossing two innings of relief against Westminster. Had two strikeouts in that game. Did not allow a walk until his fifth appearance.
  • Russellville HS: Hit .365 as a senior with 31 RBI and 2 home runs. Named All-Conference and made the All-State Tournament Team as a junior and senior. Helped team to a state championship as a senior.

He had eight multiple-hit games over the final 14 games of the season. He had a 2-for-5, four-RBI performance against Hardin-Simmons. He drove in three runs three other times during the season, including a three-hit, three-RBI effort against Sul Ross State.
  • 2016: Made 17 starts and played in 18 games. Posted three doubles and one home run to record 17 RBI. Hit .243 with 23 total bases. Recorded 74 putouts with four assists and no errors for a 1.000 fielding percentage. Had four multiple-hit games. Went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI against McMurry. Had six total bases in that game. Had seven multiple-RBI games. Drove in three runs on a 2-for-5 performance against LaGrange.

Finished second in hitting (.365), home runs (5) and hits (54), and third in on-base percentage (.458) and RBI (23). Hit for the cycle with a 4-for-5 performance against Grinnell College March 18. Finished with 14 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games. Tripled and homered against Grinnell College and Austin College. Drove in four runs in the Austin College game. Had 12 games with two or more runs, including four games with three runs. Went 4-for-4 against McMurry University, and against Hardin-Simmons had three doubles in game three of the series. At the end of the regular season, led the ASC in doubles, was fifth in total bases and slugging percentage, seventh in runs and third in triples.
  • 2016: Started in 29 games and played in 33. Finished second on the team in runs (22) and tied for the team-lead in triples (3). Led the team with four sacrifice hits and six stolen bases. Finished third on the team in RBI (15) and second in walks (10). Hit .276 with four doubles and one home run. Had seven multiple-hit games, all with two hits. Drove in three runs with two hits against Texas-Tyler. Drew three walks and tripled in two runs in the next game against Texas-Tyler. Posted two doubles against Hendrix. Homered against Howard Payne.

  • RIVERCREST HS: Hit .440 with 22 RBI and 3 home runs as a senior. Also recorded 30 hits. On the mound, went 9-1 with a 2.80 ERA in 57.0 innings of work. Had 74 strikeouts and two no-hitters. Named All-State and All-Region his senior season. Four-time All-Conference performer. Earned a spot on the Jonesboro Sun and Blytheville Courier News First Team. Helped team to four straight conference championships. Led team to a 10-0 conference record and a regional championship his senior campaign. Team won three district championships during prep career.

Named ASC Pitcher of the Week after tossing a three-hit complete game shutout against Mary Hardin-Baylor March 19. In that game, issued only one walk over seven innings and allowed just five base runners. Fanned a season-best six against Texas-Tyler April 15.
  • PLANO WEST HS: Finished with a 2.97 ERA and a 2-7 record. Named to the All-District Second Team as a senior. Helped team to a co-district championship and a regional championship as a sophomore.

Finished second on the team in slugging percentage (.582), runs (27), total bases (85) and on-base percentage (.465). Had 10 doubles, third-most on the team. Homered and drove in five runs against McMurry and posted a three-hit, four-RBI game against LeTourneau. Had 19 multiple-hit games and finished the season on a 15-game hitting streak. During that stretch, he hit .500 (29-of-58). Set two freshman records for the program and tied another, including most hits (57), most total bases (85) and most home runs (6-tie). At the end of the ASC regular season, ranked sixth in batting and hits, and ninth in on-base percentage. Had seven three-hit games and had eight multiple-run games. Went 3-for-3 with three RBI against Hendrix College. Had three hits and two runs against four different opponents.
  • Started 86 games during his high school career, hitting for a combined average of .536. He finished the year hitting .710 as a senior.
