Spring tide is een Synthpop groep gevormd in 2017 in Den Haag. Na eerst veel geëxperimenteerd te hebben in verschillende stijlen, bleek Synthpop de ware liefde te zijn, waar de band hier en daar ook flirt met een vleugje Disco en een stukje rauwe Rock. Geïnspireerd door synthpop-bands uit de jaren 80 zoals 'A Flock of Seagulls, 'Duran Duran' en 'INXS', haalt de band zijn eigentijdse inspiratie uit echte festivalbands als 'Franz Ferdinand' en 'Two Door Cinema Club'. Deze invloeden laten Spring Tide klinken als een kenmerkende golf van strakke drums, melodische baslijnen, hoekige gitaren en stroperige synthesizers. Waan jezelf in een Aziatische stad, op een warme zomerse avond en luister naar: Spring Tide. Hopelijk krijg je nu al zin om te dansen...
Spring Tide is a Synthpop band formed in 2017 based in The Hague. After experimenting with many different music-genres, the band finally realized that Synthpop was their one and true love, but they occasionally flirt with a little Disco and a piece of rawness from Rock. Inspired by Synthpop-bands from the 80s like 'Flock of Seagulls, 'Duran Duran' and 'INXS', the band gets his festival-like energy from modern bands as 'Franz Ferdinand' and 'Two Door Cinema Club'. These influences let's Spring Tide sound as a recognizable wave of tight drums, melodic basslines, powerful guitar-hooks and syrup-like synthesizers.
