The children have settled really well in their new class. It was lovely getting to know them all again and their wonderful personalities. This week we have been talking about what makes us special and unique and the children used brilliant observational skills to paint self portraits. They even made a frame for their drawing out of construction straws.
Our new Mantle story involves a lake and the children have enjoyed looking closely at the things that can be found in there. We created a lake role-play area and I think the children are going to have lots of fun using their imagination, while going on different adventures! Stay tuned.
