Dyma ein Staff Myfyrwyr Newydd | Meet our new Student Staff
Mae Undeb Bangor wedi ymrwymo i roi cyfleoedd i fyfyrwyr Bangor cael profiad gwaith a chael eu talu ar yr un pryd. Eleni wnaethom recriwtio pum aelod o staff – Enwau a rolau student staff – fe’u gwelir o amgylch y campws trwy gydol y flwyddyn a fyddant yno i helpu hyrwyddo cyfleoedd a ddarparwn fel Tîm Cyfleoedd.
Undeb Bangor are committed in giving Bangor students the opportunity to gain valuable working experience whilst being paid at the same time. This year we recruited five student staff, they will be seen around campus throughout the year helping us to promote the opportunities that we provide as an Opportunities team.
Pwyllgor Undeb Athletau | Athletic Union Exec
Mae'r Undeb Athletau yn rhan fawr o brofiad clwb. Maen nhw yn trefnu bob math o ddigwyddiadau fel twrnament Dodgeball, Wythnos Byw'n Iach a hefyd yn cefnogi digwyddiadau mae clybiau eraill yn eu trefnu. Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn cadw llygaid allan am newyddion driwyr flwyddyn.
Mae'r Pwyllgor yn cyfarfod bob Nos Fawrth, os mae yna unrhyw beth ydych angen ei drafod gadewch i ni wybod.
The AU Exec are an integral part of your club experience. They will be arranging many events such as Dodgeball, Healthy living week and also supporting events that clubs arrange, make sure keep an eye out on news through the year.
The exec meet up every Tuesday evening, if you want them to discuss anything specific then just let us know.
Pwyllgor Cymdeithasau | Societies Exec
Mae Pwyllgor Cymdeithasau yn edrych ymlaen i weithio gyda'n holl Gymdeithasau. Mi fydda nhw yn cefnogi digwyddiadau fel y Ffair Diwylliant ar Dachwedd 7fed (mwy o wybodaeth yn fuan) a Gŵyl Cymdeithasau tymor nesaf.
Mae'r Pwyllgor yn cyfarfod bob yn ail wythnos, os mae yna unrhyw beth ydych angen ei drafod gadewch i ni wybod.
The societies Exec are excited to start work with all our societies. They will be supporting events like the upcoming cultural fair on the 7th of November (more information coming soon) and next semesters societies fest.
The exec will meet every other week, if there is anything you want them to discuss let us know
Employability
Why do we come to University? We come to University to learn, have a great time, get involved in new activities and opportunities, but I think we can all agree the main reason is so that we can have a great job at the end of the journey!
Here at Undeb Bangor we strive to make you as employable as possible. Here are 4 ways Undeb Bangor helps you and your employability!
• SU activities gives you skills and experiences that will put you in an even greater position when looking for a job.
• Being a course rep or student councillor gives you an unparalleled insight into how universities and large organisations operate internally
• Being a committee member of a club, society or volunteering project develops your leadership skills.
• Many of our Volunteering Projects align with Bangor’s academic subjects, you'll pick up extra skills that employers will be looking for.
Top tip – it’s never too early to be thinking about what to do once you’ve finished Uni. That might seem strange to first year students who’ve just started, but it’s true!

Pam ein bod ni’n dod i’r Brifysgol? Rydym yn dod i’r Brifysgol er mwyn dysgu, cael amser da, manteisio ar weithgareddau a chyfleoedd newydd ond mae’n siŵr ein bod i gyd yn gallu cytuno mai’r prif reswm yw fel ein bod yn medru cael swydd wych ar ddiwedd y daith!
Yn Undeb Bangor, rydym yn ymdrechu i sicrhau eich bod chi mor gyflogadwy ag sy’n bosib. Dyma 4 ffordd y mae Undeb Bangor yn eich helpu chi a’ch cyflogadwyedd!
Bydd gweithgareddau’r Undeb yn rhoi sgiliau a phrofiadau gwerthfawr ichi er mwyn rhoi mantais ichi pan eich bod yn ymgeisio am swydd.
Mae bod yn Gynrychiolydd Cwrs neu Gynghorydd Myfyrwyr yn darparu mewnwelediad heb ei ail o ran sut mae prifysgolion a mudiadau mawr yn gweithio.
Mae bod yn aelod o bwyllgor i glwb, cymdeithas neu brosiect gwirfoddoli yn datblygu eich sgiliau arwain.
Mae nifer o’n prosiectau gwirfoddoli yn cyd-fynd â phynciau academaidd Prifysgol Bangor, felly byddwch yn magu sgiliau ychwanegol y bydd cyflogwyr yn edrych amdanynt.
Dyw hi byth yn rhy gynnar i ddechrau meddwl am beth yr hoffech ei wneud wedi ichi orffen yn y Brifysgol. Efallai bod hynny’n swnio’n rhyfedd i fyfyrwyr y flwyddyn gyntaf sydd wedi dechrau’n ddiweddar, ond mae’n wir!

Mae’r Etholiadau ar gyfer Cynrychiolwyr Cwrs a CUB yn dod i ben, ac yfory yw eich cyfle olaf i bleidleisio!
Mae’r Cynrychiolwyr Cwrs yn eich cynrychioli chi ym mhob peth Academaidd, ac mae’r Cynghorywyr CUB yn eich cynrychioli ym mhob peth sy’n ymwneud â’ch profiad yma yn y Brifysgol! Mae’n bwysig felly bod eich cynrychiolaeth o safon uchel, a bod eich llais yn cael ei glywed! Sicrhewch eich bod yn pleidleisio cyn 5yh fory, y 4ydd o Hydref!
The UBC and Course Rep Elections are coming to a close, and tomorrow is your last chance to vote!
Course Reps represent you in all things Academic, and UBC Councillors represent you in all things to do with your University experience! As such, it’s so important that you are well represented and that your voice is heard! Make sure you vote before 5pm tomorrow, the 4th of October!
