To start, the scammer will call a person over the phone claiming to be a jury duty coordinator alerting them they have failed to show up for their jury duty.
The scammer will go on to say if not resolved soon, there will be a warrant out for the person’s arrest
The victim more than likely has become scared and tends to cooperate when the scammer asks for personal information including SSN number, address and phone numbers.
