Steps of the Mosaic Project

Choose an image of a Texas Wild Flower

Draw it large or use one of our pre-made templates

Prepare the clay and use the slab roller

Prepare the slab by adding texture to the back of it to adhere it to the walll

Use a template/drawing to and transfer image to clay. Cut flower design out of the slab

Cut Flower into more manageable puzzle pieces in preparation for install.

Label back of flower to prepare for install.

Cover work with dry wall to flatten and dry out before firing

Bisque Fire in Kiln

Glaze flowers with 3 coats of glaze and then fire in the kiln. l

Install Day TBA
