I Love MOPS Groups
Some of my favorite Beyond Birds & Bees speaking events have been at MOPS groups, and I would love to speak with your group next!
I’ve spoken with dozens of different groups over the years and learned – you are my people! As a mom of young children, Christian, wife and busy woman trying do the best I can, I understand the MOPS mission and vision. I love the opportunity to spend a couple hours with you, in fellowship and fun, sharing my passion of helping moms feel more confident in this difficult topic in parenting (your amazing food, endless coffee, and cute décor helps, too!).
What to Expect
I’m completely flexible in how we spend our time together, or the specific topics we cover, but here’s the standard program I’ve created for you:
After you start your meeting with your usual prayer, food, announcements, and fellowship, I’ll spend the next 60-90 minutes with you, helping you feel more comfortable and confident talking to your children about sex: sexual behaviors, sexual development, sexuality, and their common questions (“Where do babies come from?”). I’ll share important sexual and developmental topics you need to be communicating about with your preschooolers, and give you some developmentally appropriate conversation starters to take home and start using. We’ll learn as much as we can about this topic, all while laughing and having fun …I promise!
