Dreams Final Project 2016

Universal Theme: Dreams are Your Biggest Motivator

"Of Mice and Men"

"Scarlet Ibis"

“Finally one day, after many weeks of practicing, he stood alone for a few seconds. When he fell, I grabbed him in my arms and hugged him, our laughter peeling through the swamp like a ringing bell. Now we knew it could be done.” (Pg 3, prg 9)

In “Scarlet Ibis” James Hurst is trying to teach me that no matter who you are or what you think you are capable of, if you have a dream you can do anything no matter who you are. From the very beginning Doodle is said to not be able to do what a normal able bodied person can do and although his older brother had a dream for him it motivated Doodle to persevere even when everyone said he couldn't do what a normal person can.

"Big Hero 6"

In “Big Hero 6” Don Hall and Chris Williams are teaching me that your dreams motivate you to push you past your limits. In Big Hero 6 when Hero visited his brothers college he decided it was his dream to go there so because is dream motivated him to get into that college he worked hard and endlessly to make his dream true.

So what? Impact

Dreams are very important in a persons life. Without a Dream to look forward to your wasting your time. Dreams can motivate you to do things you never would beleive your capable of. I beleive that everyone has a dream and everyone needs a dream. Dreams motivate you to do amazing things and they push you past your limits. We have all had dreams , we all have little dreams that eventually add up to one big life Dream. All in all I believe that dreams are a great thing to have because it can help you accomplish and do things you never knew you were capable of and it is something that will motivate you and look forward to in the future.
