La Musica Jenny Rivera

Jenni Rivera`s stage name is "La Diva De La Banda". She also had the name "La Primera Dama del Corrido".
Rosa Saavedra and Pedro Rivera, discovered they were expecting while illegally crossing from Mexico into the United States. Their daughter Jenni was born on July 2, 1969, in Los Angeles. Growing up was not easy for her. She got pregnant at the age of 15 by Trino Marin and she was kicked out of her parents house. They got married but she described their relationship as physically and mentally abusive.
Jenni attended Long Beach City College and California State University, Long Beach as a business administration major. She did pick it up, she started selling real estate in the Long Beach area and helped out at her father's recording studio and record label.
Jenni first made her first recording in 1992 for Father's day present for her Father. She made more recording and signed to Capital/EMI's Latin division. Her first album was called Chacalosa, which was released in 1995.
Jenni was told many times that she would not make it. In a genre known as regional Mexican music was and is dominated by men.
The music that Jenni Rivera played was Banda y Ranchera. Banda is a style of Mexican music and the musical ensemble in which wind instruments, mostly of brass, and percussion, are performed. History of banda music in Mexico dates from the middle of 19th century with the arrival of piston metal instruments, when the communities tried to imitate the military bands.
Her biggest album was "Mi Vida Loca" it reached at number 8 in Regional Mexican Airplay. It earned he the award, Regional Mexican Album Of The Year at the 2008 Latin Billboard Music Awards
The albums that she made include Joyas Prestadas, La Gran Senora, Mi Vida Loca, a.nd many more.
