COLBY BRANSON's GENIUS HOUR

For my genius hour project I have decided to answer the question "How do I unlock all the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is important because Super Smash Bros. Brawl is one of the greatest games ever made. My goals for this project are to provide regular updates and not be a noob at a game I've been playing for years. I will measure my goals by my ability to play this game like a pro because I have been playing for so long. I will try to unlock the fighters on my first try, and not after three days.

The first characters I will be unlocking will be Ganondorf, Captain Falcon, and Falco. Ganondorf is a villain from the Legend of Zelda series. He's an evil wizard. To unlock him, I can either play through classic mode on hard difficulty, or play on normal difficulty as Link or Zelda. In many ways, his fighting style is very similar to Captain Falcon, but I will talk about him shortly. Ganondorf is a very powerful fighter, but has very low speed. Captain Falcon is from the F-Zero series, a racing game. To unlock him, I can either beat classic mode on normal difficulty in less than 20 minutes, or play 70 matches. He is one of my personal favorite characters. He has both high power and speed. Falco is a starfighter pilot from the StarFox series. He has high speed, but low power. To unlock him, I can either beat 100 man brawl or play 70 matches.

The next characters I will be unlocking are Jigglypuff, Lucario, and Mr. Game and Watch. Yes, that is his name. Jigglypuff is a pokemon from (obviously) the pokemon series. She has low power and relatively low speed. I can unlock her by either finding a secret room in a maze in the story mode, playing classic with any fighter except Ike, or by playing 350 matches. Lucario is also a pokemon, his power and speed are both medium level. I can unlock him by clearing 1-5 target smashes with one character, playing through the story mode with Meta Knight, or by playing 100 brawls. Mr. Game and Watch is from a series of handheld games from very long ago called "Game and Watch," which are exactly what they sound like; video games that also kept time. He has mid-level speed and good power. I can unlock him by beating classic mode with every character, or by playing 250 brawls.

The next ones I will unlock are Ness, R.O.B., and Toon Link. Ness is a character from the Earthbound series. I can unlock him by either reflecting 10 projectiles, or by playing 5 brawls and meeting him in the subspace emissary. R.O.B. was a real life toy robot that you hooked up a video game controller to and played games with. Sadly, he was only programmed for two games, and was not commercially successful. To unlock him, I can either play 160 matches or unlock 250 different trophies. Toon link is another version of Link from the Legend of Zelda series. I can unlock him by either beating classic mode on hard difficulty, or by playing 400 brawls.
