Getting off the train at Liverpool St, I decided to just change it up a little and take a look up and discover the gems that my route to work always offers, that I so often don't see at all.
And there you have it, I left Liverpool Street and instead of taking a right and walking straight on, I crossed the road, went down an unknown road, took a few turns here and there and ended up by the historic Tower of London (founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. The White Tower, which gives the entire castle its name, was built by William the Conqueror in 1078).
