Your dreams will keep you happy Theme project by: Angelica Reyna

Universal Theme: Even though some dreams don't come true or go as planned it is good to keep striving and working for them because those dreams make you happy.

"Of Mice And Men"

"Go on," said Lennie. "How's it gonna be. We gonna get a little places." " We'll have a cow," said George. "An' we'll have maybe a pig an' chickens . . . . an' down the flat we'll have a . . . . little pice alfalf." " For the rabbits," Lennie shouted. "For the rabbits," George repeated. " And I get to tend the rabbits." " An' you get to tend the rabbits." Lennie giggled with happiness. "An' live on the fatty the lan'."

This pice of text shows how George made Lennie feel vary happy just by talking about there dreams to own land of there own. When they talked about there dream throughout the story it always made Lennie happy every time. This helps my theme because this shows of even thought the dream didn't come true it was what kept Lennie happy.

"The Scarlet Ibis"

"I began to believe in my own infallibility, and I prepared a terrific development program for him, unknown to Mama and Daddy, of course. I would teach him to run, to swim, to climb trees, and to fight. He, too, now believed in my infallibility, so we set the deadline for these accomplishments less that a year away, when, it had been decided, Doodle could start school."

This quote form the story, "The Scarlet Ibis," is about how the brothers diced to make there goal less than a year away. They planned that Doodle would do things normal people can do. Even though the narrator was helping for his selfishness it was still a goal he had hop to achieve. This goal didn't trun out right but it kept Doodle wanting to do more and achieve more. Him learning to walk bust he's confidence.

"Zootopia"

I pick these scenes because it shows that every since she was small she wanted to become a police officer. When she went to the police academy she had a hard time and she kept trying. Her dream kept her going and help her a chive her goua. This helps my theme because it shows how Judy kept trying and when she became a cop and was a meter made she still didn't give up.

So What? Impact

Dreams and aspirations are related to real life situations because everyone has dreams and hope to achieve them. But my theme, Even though some dreams don't come true or go as planned it is good to keep striving and working for them because those dreams make you happy, is related to real life situations because not everyone achieves there dreams. But knowing you can't achieve your dream doesn't mean they don't make you happy. I know when I think of my dreams it makes me happy.
