the very first iPhone

The iPhone (commonly referred as the iPhone 2G is the first smartphone model designed and marketed by Apple. It is the first generation of iPhone that was announced on January 9, 2007 after years of rumors and speculation. It was introduced in the United States on June 29, 2007, and it featured quad-band GSM cellular connectivity with GPR and EDGE support for data transfer.

the second iPhone created aka iPhone 3

The iPhone 3G is a smartphone that was designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It is the second generation of iPhone, and was introduced on June 9, 2008, at the WWDC 2008 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, United States. The iPhone 3G is internally similar to its predecessor, but includes several new hardware features, such as GPS, and 3G data. The device was originally loaded with the concurrently launched iPhone OS 2.0. In addition to other features (including push email and turn-by-turn navigation), this new operating system introduced the App Store—Apple's new distribution platform for third-party applications. This $99 iPhone 3G required a two-year contract and was available only in black and with 8 GB of storage, but came bundled with updated iPhone OS 3.0 software. On June 7, 2010, the iPhone 3G was finally discontinued, and replaced as Apple's budget phone by an 8 GB iPhone 3GS selling for the same price of $99 with a 2-year contract.

iPhone 4

The iPhone 4 is a smartphone that was designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Following a number of notable leaks, the iPhone 4 was first unveiled on June 7, 2010, at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, and was released on June 24, 2010, in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan. It is the 4th generation of iPhone. The iPhone 4 introduced a new hardware design to the iPhone family, which Apple's CEO Steve Jobs touted as the thinnest smartphone in the world at the time; it consisted of an uninsulated stainless steel frame which doubles as an antenna, with internal components situated between chemically strengthened glass. The iPhone 4 also introduced Apple's new high-resolution "Retina Display", its liquid crystal display had a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. The iPhone 4 also introduced Apple's A4 system-on-chip, along with iOS 4—which notably introduced multitasking functionality and Apple's new FaceTime video chat service. The iPhone 4 was also the first iPhone to include a front-facing camera. The iPhone succeeded as Apple's flagship smartphone in 2011 by the iPhone 4S. However, iPhone 4 continued to be produced until 2013.The iPhone 4 received generally positive reception, with critics praising its revamped design and more powerful hardware in comparison to previous models. While it was a market success, with over 600,000 pre-orders within 24 hours, the release of the iPhone 4 was plagued by highly publicized reports that abnormalities in its new antenna design caused the device to lose its cellular signal if held in a certain way. Most human contact with the phone's outer edge would cause a significant decrease in signal strength. The iPhone 4 spent the longest time as Apple's flagship iPhone model at fifteen months, and had the longest lifespan of any iPhone ever produced, spanning close to four years and available in some developing countries until early 2014.

iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 is a smartphone that was designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It is the sixth generation of the iPhone, succeeding the iPhone 4S and preceding the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Formally unveiled as part of a press event on September 12, 2012, it was released on September 21, 2012. It was the first iPhone to be completely developed under the guidance of Tim Cook and the last iPhone to be overseen by Steve Jobs. The iPhone 5 featured major design changes in comparison to the past iPhones. These included an aluminum-based body which was thinner and lighter than previous models, a taller screen with a nearly 9:16 aspect ratio, the Apple A6 system-on-chip, LTE support, and Lightning, a new compact dock connector which replaced the 30-pin design used by previous iPhone models. This was the second Apple phone to include its new Sony made 8MP Camera, first introduced on the iPhone 4S.Apple began taking pre-orders on September 14, 2012, and over two million were received within 24 hours. Initial demand for the iPhone 5 exceeded the supply available at launch on September 21, 2012, and was described by Apple as "extraordinary", with pre-orders having sold twenty times faster than any other phones. While reception to the iPhone 5 was generally positive, consumers and reviewers noted hardware issues, such as an unintended purple hue in photos taken, and the phone's coating being prone to chipping. Reception was also mixed over Apple's decision to switch to a different dock connector design, as the change affected iPhone 5's compatibility with accessories that were otherwise compatible with previous iterations of the line. The iPhone 5 was officially discontinued by Apple on September 10, 2013 with the announcement of its successors, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.The iPhone 5 is the shortest lifespan of any iPhone ever produced with only twelve months in production and it is the second iPhone to support five major versions.

the new iPhone charger

The Iphone 5 also had introduced a new charger a lot better then the other Iphone chargers. Its smaller and a lot easier to use since the chargers can sometimes break the new charger is a lot less likely to break. Even though its smaller it actually works a lot better to. It can charge a lot faster.Another thing that also came with the new Iphone are the headphones. When you buy a new Iphone the headphones will with it in a box.

the new iPhone 6

The iPhone design is so iconic that it's come to represent what most of us think of when we think of the modern phone. The rounded rectangle. The Home button. Yet as much as some elements have stayed the same over the years, others have continued to evolve. The form of the back. The length of the screen. The materials and the colors. Every two years Apple reinvents the phone that reinvented phones. This year, however, the reinvention is bigger than ever. The iPhone 6 is both taller and wider than the iPhone 5s — 5.44-inches high and 2.64-inches wide its also thinner, but it's weight is , 4.55 ounces which makes it heavier than the iPhone 5s, it's lighter than the iPhone 4s. It's often argued that, instead of continuing to make iPhones thinner and thinner, Apple should keep them the same thinness and, instead, use the extra space to increase battery capacity. However, it's really never been about thinness. Thinness is a byproduct of lightness. The thinner Apple can make the iPhone, the lighter they can make it. As the iPhone increases in size, keeping it as light as possible means that it can be held for a long as possible, by as many people as possible — for watching videos and playing games, for surfing web pages and reading books.

whats the difference between the iPhone 6 and 6 plus

It's easy to see how the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are different in size : The 6 Plus has a larger screen and is a larger device. Beyond that obvious difference, though, the things that distinguish the two models are more subtle. Understanding the differences is important.

Because of its larger screen, the iPhone 6 Plus is hard on its battery. To compensate, the battery offers much more capacity and a longer battery life than the battery in the iPhone 6, based on information supplied by Apple.

Because of its larger screen and improved battery, the iPhone 6 Plus generally costs more than the regular iPhone 6 . Both models offer the same storage options—16GB, 64GB, and 128GB.

If you just look at the specs, the cameras on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus appear to be identical. The back camera on both devices takes 8-megapixel images. Both offer the same slo-mo features. However, there's one important element of the cameras that makes a big difference in the quality of the photos they take: image stabilization.Image stabilization is a feature of cameras that reduces motion in the camera—say, the movement of your hand as you take the photo. It improves focus and delivers higher-quality images. There are two ways image stabilization can be achieved: hardware and software.

In software image stabilization, a program automatically tweaks photos to improve their look. Both phones have this. However, hardware image stabilization, which uses the phone's gyroscope and M8 motion co-processor to cancel out movement, is even better. Only the iPhone 6 Plus has this feature. So, if taking the best possible photos is important to you, the 6 Plus is your best bet.

the new iPhone 7

They were announced on September 7, 2016, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco by Apple CEO Tim Cook, and were released on September 16, 2016, succeeding the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as the current flagship devices in the iPhone series. Apple also released the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in numerous countries worldwide throughout September and October 2016.The iPhone 7's overall design is similar to the iPhone 6S, but introduces new color options, water and dust resistance, a new capacitive, static home key, and removes the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device's internal hardware also received upgrades, improved system and graphics performance, and upgraded 12 megapixel rear-facing cameras with optical image stabilization on all models and an additional telephoto lens on the iPhone 7 Plus model to provide enhanced zoom capabilities.Reception of the iPhone 7 was mixed. Although reviewers noted the improvements to the camera, especially the dual rear camera on the Plus model, they also stated that the iPhone 7 did not make significant changes to the display or build quality, where competing flagship smartphones surpassed the quality of the iPhone 7. Many reviews highlighted the controversial lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack, with reactions ranging from step forward for the mobile industry".Each iPhone 7 comes with a Lightning-to-3.5-mm adapter. Apple sells the adapter independently as well.Apple also unveiled several Bluetooth wireless headphones ostensibly intended for use with iPhone 7, including AirPods, wireless in-ear headphones, and three new Beats headphone products. All four products utilize an in-house wireless chip known as Apple W1, which is designed to provide low-power Bluetooth operation and integration with iOS and macOS products (though they are still compatible with other Bluetooth-supported devices).

Apple has a major iPhone redesign planned for 2017, with a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera. The new iPhone may be sold alongside upgraded (but standard) 4.7 and 5.5-inch iPhones.

5.8" OLED display

Faster A11 processor

Glass body

Edge-to-edge display

Camera and Touch ID integrated in display

No Home button

Wireless charging

Three models - One OLED, two standard

2017 will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and Apple has something major planned to celebrate the occasion. We've got several months to go until the launch of the iPhone 8, but because of Apple's ambitious plans for the device, there are already an abundance of rumors hinting at the impressive features coming in the 2017 iPhone.

Apple is rumored to be testing more than 10 prototype iPhone models, so it's not entirely clear what we're going to see, and because there are so many test devices in play, rumors are also conflicting and murky at this time.

Rumors suggest it's going to be a radical redesign, with an edge-to-edge display that does away with the top and bottom bezels where features like the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and the front-facing camera are housed. Instead, Touch ID and the camera may be built directly into the display, meaning there will be no Home button. Jony Ive has wanted to introduce an iPhone that looks like a single sheet of glass for several years, and glass is also necessary if Apple wants to introduce wireless charging.
