Cassidy to Cusco 2017~4/6-4/15

COSMIC MOUNTAINS, earth size humans.

We rode parallel along the river banks, and took stops to just stare at the mountains which were larger than our whole beings. In enormity it was breathtaking, substantially, it took my breath away being in thin air and lacking oxygen. This still image of a world, I took before departing to Urubamba on train. I could not guess if the building below was a dwelling or business of any sort, but I mainly found the perfect alignment of the building and mountains to remind me of our humanity in a natural world.

Peru Rail, Urubamba

AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEBODY WHO CREATES A NEW LANGUAGE IN ART BY WHAT ABILITIES THEY HAVE FOR LIGHTING, EQUIPMENT AND DIRECTION; A GOLDEN STANDARD OF WHAT A PHOTO JOURNALIST IS
1952 Volkswagen Beetle

"An artist’s freedom to choose among these possibilities is how he determines his style."

Home of artist Pablo Seminario. The isolation of the Sacred Valley of the Incas produced by the social convulsions of the time is a factor that contributed to the maturation of Seminario's style. A quick tour around his lush garden home and pottery business, his more than original and unique art style cultivates everything beautiful about Peru.
