Toto ST's Afro-soul voice and compositions take you simultaneously to a genuine journey throughout the great diversity of Angolan seductive landscape and world music’s deepest roots. Toto ST exquisite fusion is made of afro jazz, funk, blues, soul, R&B, kilapanga and other African rhythms

Singer, songwriter, guitar player and record producer, Toto ST began his career at 14, collaborating with top Angolan musicians such as the Kalibradros, Genesis and Yanik Afro Men, among others. Thus, at 38, he already has over 20 years of career.

Tomas SERPIÃO was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1980. Music is a strong genetic inheritance in the culture of Angolan people and becomes every child’s natural environment.

But Tomas, known now as Toto ST, was still a peculiar child : he wrote his first lyrics at 8 and started singing North American, Angolan, Brazilian and other African rooted melodies.

Today, Toto ST is a top musical reference in Angola and his afro-soul is known over the African continent.

In 2015, Toto ST shared the Jazzing Festival stage with Diane Reeves and Nigerian singer Nneka. He also composed and shared stage with Keziah Jones.

A Solid Multi-Awarded and versatile musician

Awarded Best Composer at Luanda Song Festival 18th edition, Toto ST was also nominated in five categories. His versatile and very personal approach to a universe which fuses afro jazz, funk, blues, soul, R&B and kilapanga, boosts its presence in prestigious jazz and world music festivals

Toto ST clearly expresses his passion and devotion which guides him all the way : “ I started singing very early, I didn’t even had time to think about another job than musician. Music is an integral part of my being and all I am and all I have is a result of this, nice and deep job. Through my songs, I want to deliver messages of hope, of people living together, no matter the color, the belief..."

He is able to gather the audience playing acoustic guitar by himself, or with his band

Toto ST shares his time between Luanda, Angola & Lisbon, Portugal, from where he often works - He can thus easily travel to Europe and the world

His upcoming album (release spring 2019), is a clear insight of our society, expressing a deep need of love and tolerance. Spreading love is the word and is Toto ST’s mission through the amazingly deep, touching and sparkling songs he offers
