strength of faith where will your faith lead you

This week, we talked about our trust in God's promises, as well as what Jesus told us to do in the face of difficult circumstances. The centurion believed so strongly that Jesus would heal his master that he told Jesus to stay home and heal him remotely. With all of the on-line diagnostics that we have these days, the centurion's request may not seem strange to our children. But remind them how this is different!

In church, we heard about how Jesus tells us to respond to difficult personal interactions. It is quite different from how the world tells us to respond. This is a great passage to read with out children during our family devotional times throughout the year. We all run into problems with people. Jesus is clear about how we are to respond.
