Now for the first time ever, the ability to color adjust form 2700°K - 6000°K without losing the intensity is made a reality with the Helios H1000!
When set to full 2700°K or 6000°K you will get the true amount of output claimed by most of our competitors, but when adjusting the LED units in-between those color temperatures the output is reduced to half because the current LED lights on the market split the amount LED nodes decreasing the intensity of light when adjusting in between 2700°K - 6000°K.
With FIlmGear's new state of the art LED technology and engineering, the need for a fixture to split the LED nodes is non-existent in the H1000 unit. How so? FilmGear engineers have placed two 1,000W COBs. COB LEDs have great advantage of thermal resistance, larger cooling area, better lighting effect and higher light efficacy. This allows for the H1000 to truly offer the filmmaker an output equivalent to a traditional 6K space light at all color temperatures at all times from 2700°K - 6000°K.
The H1000 is identical in color rendition with virtually identical optics to traditional 6K incandescent space lights, but consumes 80% less power. The H1000 provides approximately the same maximum output as a 6000W space-light fixture, but it only draws a maximum of 950W. The fixture's output can be dimmed from 100% brightness to 0% without flicker at normal frame rates. The H1000 LED is designed to hang from a grid. However, an optional yoke can be fitted to allow the fixture to be used as a Skypan or a Briese light giving you a nice large round light source.
Introducing the new H700 and H500 LED Bi-Color Space Light by FilmGear®. The H700 and H500 use SMD LED technology that are more suitable to use on these two lower power LED space lights. The SMD offers higher efficiency offering more lumens and are able to provide a more even light output with less wattage. The H700, like its big brother H1000 also has an output equivalent to a traditional 6,000kW space light and the the H500 is equivalent to a traditional 3,000kW.
The SMD has a much larger beam angle. For that reason, the H700 and H500 use a Fresnel lens to increase the light intensity. The H700 has a total 1440 pcs of SMD, Tungsten=720 and Daylight=720. This allows for an output power of 720W when set at Daylight or Tungsten. The H500 has total 960 pcs of SMD, Tungsten=480 and Daylight=480, allowing for an output of 480W when set at Daylight or Tungsten. This allows for the output to keep the same when changing the color temperature.
HELIOS CONTROL FEATURES
All Helios units are DMX-controllable and use two channels. One for color temperature and one for intensity. Or you can control the unit locally with two built-in manual potentiometers. Power is supplied by using a cable with a PowerCON connector. Built into the top of the control panel of the fixture, there are loop through PowerCON connectors and a 10A slow-blow fuse.
Each unit is sold as a set and includes both a silk skirt and black skirt. The yoke mount accessory is only available for the H1000. Skirt sizes vary depending on the size of the fixture.
