Buoyancy is the equal weight of displaced water. If the weight of the water is greater than the weight of the boat, the boat will float. If the weight of the boat is greater than the weight of the water, it will sink. For my boat I used a bullet-shaped body for the boat's stability, on the side, two support bars to keep the boat together and steady, rectangular pieces to balance the boat, and letter pieces to keep the coin from falling into the water.
