Polar Plunge & 5K at Wash Park TOMORROW!

The 2020 Polar Plunge Series presented by Westerra Credit Union is in full swing!

The Denver Polar Plunge and 5K is next! You can plunge (into a pool), participate in the 5K presented by Anytime Fitness or do both! ⁠The After Splash Bash presented by The Smile Generation will be hopping with a beer garden, s'mores bar, hot chocolate and fun for all ages!

Spread the Word: Inclusion Day on March 4th!

As part of our ongoing effort to end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities, thousands of students from across the state will be taking part in Inclusion Campaigns within their schools surrounding Spread the Word: Inclusion Day.

This month (and everyday) we are encouraging everyone to pledge to be a teammate, be a friend, welcome someone who has been left out or say hello to someone new.

There are so many ways to spread inclusion. Choose yours. Click here to take the pledge and join us in making inclusion a reality for all people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Seeking Athletes and Mentors for ALPs U!

ALPs University presented by Ent Credit Union Spring Semester will be held on April 5th at the University of Denver.

ALPs U is a great opportunity for SOCO athletes to build confidence, make friends and develop their skills by taking college type courses in areas such as leadership, communication, governance and health & fitness.

Choose Inclusion This Tax Season

This tax season, you can help end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities. Make a donation to Special Olympics Colorado on Line 9 of the Colorado Tax Form.

Spend a Week at Camp Shriver!

Interested in an overnight camp with Special Olympics Colorado? Apply to attend Camp Shriver this summer!

We're still looking for six more camp counselors from Special Olympics College Clubs and four more Unified Partners. Applications for athletes are still open!

Owner of Lukas Liquors in Lone Tree, Joe, hosted a fundraiser for Special Olympics Colorado’s Law Enforcement Torch Run Program and raised over $17,000!
