The Town of Amherst's third annual Pride Parade celebrated acceptance and inclusion for all when it was held on June 15.
The parade was led by Parade Marshal Mason Carter and the Pride flag was abundant.
Some wrapped themselves in the flag
Other's showed their pride by painting the Pride symbol on their faces.
There were many different ways folks showed their pride
Happiness and enthusiasm were on display throughout the parade that attracted individuals and groups like NSCC, NSTU, CUPE, EHS, Maggie's Place, Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church and the Federation of Labour.
There were speeches, quiet moments and a growing understanding that we must all respect and love each other as we are all human beings.
