Membership

How can you help our District achieve these goals?

  • Recruit new members all year long. Invite underclassmen to join you in your service projects.
  • Submit dues and membership rosters for new members in January and March or April to keep your membership current and covered by Civitan insurance.
  • Don't forget, you can apply for $50 grants for each new member who fulfills the requirements through FCIDD (Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) These grants can be used toward Sno Do, Dance A Thon and International Convention.

Did you know that we have built one (1) new club in Chesapeake so far this year?

Yorktown High School Junior Civitan Club in Arlington, VA

We have another potential club being built in Bedford, VA at Liberty High School and we have several inquiries about building clubs at other schools in our District.

If you know of a school or community that would like to become Junior Civitans and serve their communities, contact Ms. Carmen.
