In september Sierra Leone’s government told its 6 million citizens to remain indoors for three days

By mid-october, nearly 8,900 people have got the virus

As of early September, with more than 1,800 confirmed Ebola deaths in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone

There was a total of 11,310 deaths that have been recorded

Symptoms are bleeding through your pores, slight headaches,stomach pain, nausea, vomiting bloody black liquid,bloodshot eyes, joint and muscle aches

According to WHO | Ebola outbreak there today is over 10,000 survivors

Majorly struck in 2014 on the continent of Africa

More than 28,000 were affected with the virus

Because of sick people their families had to be separated so they wouldn't carry the disease.

The government plans to spend $750 million dollars for a Ebola sickness center to treat everyone that has the virus

Currently there is no vaccines to get rid of ebola but right now 2 potential candidates are undergoing evaluation

  • Italy - 1 case, 0 deaths
  • Guinea - 3,811 cases, 2,543 deaths
  • Liberia - 10,675 cases, 4,809 deaths
  • Mali - 8 cases, 6 deaths
  • Nigeria - 20 cases, 8 deaths
  • Sierra Leone - 14,124 cases, 3,956 deaths

According to Friend a director at the U.S center for disease control and prevention it was so bad seeing all the people that were affected, he called it "A scene out of Dante."
