One of the most valuable things I learned in this class was how to manage funds and decide on what you can and can't afford. I learned how to choose what items were essential to my survival, and what things I could probably do without.
One of the most important aspects of this was learning how to factor taxes into my income to determine how much I would have to spend. This net pay was what I had to work with on a monthly basis, and it gave me valuable insight into life after college and how to manage it. The experience demonstrated to me the importance and magnitude of my financial decisions.
