If you are new to the Allen Band, the band performs in costume (not required)! Please scroll below for information regarding this Friday's football game. Homecoming/Boo Bowl Game: Oct 30

Due to our fluid calendar this year, we will be combining our homecoming game with our annual Boo Bowl game on Friday, October 30 as the Allen Eagles take on McKinney Boyd.

Your section leaders will probably communicate, but the band typically dresses up for Boo Bowl and has a costume contest (best section and best individual) before leaving for the game. Costumes must be AISD appropriate dress code, and you must be able to march your halftime show in your costume (no oversized masks/heads or anything that would impede movement or safety). If you do not wish to participate, you may wear our usual uniform this season: Dryfit T-shirt/jeans.

We will also allow homecoming mums and garters (with your costumes) for this game. We will ask you to take off garters and mums prior to performing at halftime.

Because this game is still required, we will excuse students that have filed out the excused absence request form by Friday, November 6.
