San Jose is the capital of Costa Rica and the coordinates are (9°n,85°w)

The bordering country's are Panama and Nicaragua.The bodies of water are Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean!

What are the Hemispheres?

The hemisphere is north west!

What is the temperature zone?

Costa Rica is in the tropical zone because its between the lines of the latitude called the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn and its a little above the Equator.

Physical Features

The Arenal Volcano is a beautiful site to see. Costa Rica has many pysical features but heres a few.

This is the San José River its a beautiful river.

Costa Rica's Population

This is San José. This the largest city and is Costa Rica's capital city. It is highly populated with 333,981 people.
Limon has lots of beaches and is very gorgeous. It is the 2nd most populated city in Costa Rica with 58,522 people.
This is San Francisco, Heredia in Costa Rica its the 3rd most populated city with 49,204 people
This is Alajuela Costa Rica. It has 42,975 people and is ranked 4th in Costa Rica.
This is Desamparados Costa Rica. It is ranked 5th with 42,628900 people. It is a pretty populated country.

What is total Population?

A total population is the number of all the organisms of the same group or species, which live in a particular geographical area, and have the capability of interbreeding. Costa Rica's population is small with the world rank of 119th. Their population is 4.92 million people.

What is Net Migration?

The difference between immigration into and emigration from the area during the year! Net migration is therefore negative when the number of emigrants exceeds the number of immigrants

Is Costa Rica developing or developed?

Costa Rica is developing because the normal GDP per capita is 30,000 dollars and Costa Rica's is 12,900 dollars. That is a 17,100 dollar difference. If their people don't earn a higher income nobody will want to live there, and if nobody wants to live there Costa Rica will become abandoned. Also, the normal literacy rate is 99% and Costa Rica's is 96.3%. If people over the age of 15 can't read and write there would be no teachers and no school and nobody would get a job to get money and everybody would be poor.So,over all Costa Rica is a developing country.

The main language spoken is Spanish Spanish, but there are many indigenous languages spoken.

What is their main Religion?

  • The bulls are not slain
  • Spectators are aloud to jump in the rinks
  • Young children grow up learning about a bull named Malacrianza.
  • Malacrianza is famous for tossing people of very hard
  • Malacrianza is also responsible for many people's deaths

Surfing and Paddle Boarding

You shouldn't be surprised if you see people at the airport tossing surf and paddle boards on there vans and setting out for the beach.

  • Paddle boarding is starting to catch peoples eyes and its becoming more popular
  • Not to long age Costa Rica competed in their first world championship for paddle boarding
  • Surfing is starting to fade and paddle boarding is coming up fast

Nature Sports

A great river to go rafting on is pacuare

Zip lining

If zip lining was more common and convenient people would ride it to work everyday!

Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is getting more and more common especially with the Ticos that compete nationally!

Sport Fishing

Sport Fishing is not as popular as it was

  • The marines still have quite a lot of boats coming in because the want to fish
  • Mostly male travelers come in from around the world to fish in the pacific shore

Museo Nacional de Costa Rica

This is the largest museum in costa rica.It was a fortress used for the 1948 civil war.Inside you can still see bullets to this day.

Museo de Arte Costarricense

  • Perfect place for art lovers
  • Used to be an old airport
  • A new airport got built In San josé
  • So,they changed it to a art museum
  • Its full of pinturas and Esculturas
  • the finest collection of art thats in Costa Rica
this is the art museum that used to be An airport and it holds the finest collection of art in Costa Rica

Cartago City Ruins

The whole city is a historial monument

  • It is 24 kilometers south of San José
  • It was found in 1563 by Juan Vasquezde Coronado
  • The city was attacked by earth quakes
  • The whole city got destroyed and abandoned in 1823
  • The city had beautiful stone bridges,wooden houses,and a huge roman cathedral,now its just a winding path of destruction and ruins everywhere

The Guayabo Nationa Monument

  • Monument is on the side of Turrialba Valcano
  • One of the most significant sites in Cost Rica
  • The ruins of the city abandoned in 1400ad
  • It was a whole 49 acres abandoned
  • It is very similar too the Cartago city ruins
