Traveling, Fishing and Painting

It’s been a busy couple months marked with lots of travel. From Florida to Minnesota and back, the journals have catalogued his journeys and have appeared in Gray’s Sporting Journal, Sporting Classics, Moldy Chum, Mid Current and Gink and Gasoline.

Florida Bound with Jackson Kayak

This May, Ed took a run down to Florida with the guys from Picabo Angler and Jackson Kayak. Watch the quick video about the inspiration for the work and kayak fishing.

icast and patagonia

Ed was the featured artist with Patagonia at the world's largest fishing show. He completed a 5-foot tarpon based on his journal pages. The story will appear in a future issue of the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust Journal.

The completed original painting and prints of the work will soon be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale of both will go to the Captains for Clean Water, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust and KeepEmWet.

A big thanks to Patagonia!

The Sawtooth Society Soirée

The annual Sawtooth Society's Soiree was held in Stanley, Idaho recently, and Ed was the featured artist. He completed the 6-foot canvas titled “Billy and the Kid” during the event. The piece was auctioned off to benefit the great work the society does.
