For Her Reading Pleasure: Where to Buy

"Shop as Independently as you Think"

Women & Children First bookstore is a feminist happy place, with knowledgeable staff, books, gifts and so much more. Overwhelmed? Don't worry, they also offer gift cards. The store is participating in the Small Business Saturday Passport Program, which gives shoppers in Andersonville the chance to gather stamps at 21 local retailers and entry into a raffle for fabulous prizes. Who doesn't love a good raffle?

For Her Reading Pleasure: What to Buy

Poetry, non-fiction, fiction: A sampling of the authors who have been at WCF this year.

Our Rebellious writers and reviewers have no shortage of feminist book recommendations and interviews with authors. The three authors featured above all read at Women & Children First this year and represent the diversity of books and genres available, from poetry ("Scriptorium"), to non-fiction ("Unsportsmanlike Conduct: College Football and the Politics of Rape") to verse novels ("Another Brooklyn").

For Good Vibes (Literally): 5 Picks from Early to Bed Owner Searah Deysach

Swan Wand Mini

Early to Bed is also participating in the Small Business Saturday Passport Program in Andersonville.

Swan Wand Mini

$68

In three words: "My Personal go-to."

Sola Cue

$99

In three words: "I love that."

Lipstick Vibe

$22

In three-ish words: "Eight speeds, portable, discreet."

The Womanizer Pro 40

$99

In three words: "The worst name." But: It's a must-try for users who are meh about traditional vibrators -- it both sucks and vibrates.

Shadow Rabbit Vibe II

$99

Best for: "Someone who wants to do no work."

Note: The Rabbit vibe is from the "50 Shades of Grey" collection, a fact that Searah says has freaked some buyers out. That said, it's still a good dual-action choice.
