Homosassa Elementary honors students for their extra efforts, good character

Each month at Homosassa Elementary School, students learn about a different character attribute, which they practice by demonstrating throughout the month.

For the month of October, students demonstrated “responsibility.” Teachers then selected one or two students who best exemplified this character trait to be recognized during a special luncheon on stage with family members in front of their peers. They are presented with a certificate, food coupon, a pencil, a charm and a choice of cupcakes or a cookie donated by the Homosassa Publix.

The following students were recognized for being “responsible”: Mariah Willey, Makayllah Whitman, Amelia Cartagena, Allison Co, Dominick Czuj, Harlan Smith, Ayanna Daggy, Jeremiah Robbins, Payton Reed, Alexa Luke, Alexis Beaulieu, Cage Carey, Hadley Lockett, Jesse Thurber, Emma Crowley, Dayton Piedra, Lena Co, Michael Leach-Bailey, Derrick Cuzj, Bently Quickshall, Brayden Mack, Joseph Metz, Emalee Stevens, Taylor Howell, Brady Thomson, Skylen Dingus, Devanie D’Angelo, Nathaniel Gifford, Brody Stotts, Mattie Stoller, Brenna Wills, Sebastian Stone, Anthony Sapronetti, Tyler Jordan, Owen Ashton, Chris Graham, Logan Taylor, Kinleigh Lewis, Reef Daugherty, Alanah Wills, Hunter Barker, Gavin Piliouras, Kerra Hall, Gavin Eddings, Skylar Hollback and Connell Young.
