Education how the way students have learned has changed

School. You spend the first 18 years of your life in school, then some more additional years in college if you want to. School is where our path to life is decided by how you do. If you work well in high school then you can go to college which leads to a good job . Your whole adult life is based on how well you memorize information and how well you preform under pressure. But that's not how it used to be.

Education was not a big idea until the Christians came along. Christianity introduced a new type of religion and offered a new hope to the poor and oppressed of the ancient world. In doing so a new ethical force of first importance was added to the effective energies of mankind, and a basis for the education of all was laid, for the first time, in the history of the world Ellwood Patterson Cubberley, 1956. Christianity was the first religion to introduce an education system.
The way we are taught was created for the industrial revolution and has little to no relation to the jobs currently available.
The way we are taught should be based on the current jobs available, just like it was during the industrial revolution.
