Basketball SImply just the game

Basketball is an amazing sport played all around the world and many people love it.

Here are some of the rules:

The Court: This rectangular court is 50 feet wide and 94 feet long, and the official baskets are 10 feet high.

Defence: On defence your objective is to prevent the other team from scoring the ball in their basket, if you could you could also steal the ball when the ball is close to you and you reach for it then you can get the ball and try and take it all the way back to your court to dribble.

Passing: Pass the ball by throwing it to your other 5 teammate.

Turnover: A turnover is when you do a travel, (Walking without dribbling the ball) Going out of bounds with the ball, or getting it stolen from a defender.

Scoring: The object of the game is to score the ball in the hoop. To do this you have to dribble the ball down the court and once you get to a point where you feel comfortable then you aim the ball at the hoop and shoot it or pass it.

This is Isaiah and I hope you enjoyed my presentation of basketball.
