Bismarck Mobile Testing
The N.D. National Guard continued its COVID-19 mobile testing efforts this week in partnership with the N.D. Department of Health. On July 6, 57 Soldiers assisted in the administration of 1,376 tests in the northwest parking lot of the state capitol in Bismarck. This event also saw Soldiers from the 142nd Engineer Battalion assume testing duties from the 1st Battalion, 188th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. Top photo: Spc. Collin Ahmann, N.D. COVID-19 Modeling
N.D. National Guard Soldiers and Airmen have assisted the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic in many ways. 1st Lt. Tom Hansen, 81st Civil Support Team, tells us how he helped the state in the development of a model that predicts COVID-19 infection rate within the N.D. population.
Devils Lake Independence Day Parade
Soldiers from the N.D. National Guard participated in the annual Independence Day parade in Devils Lake on July 4. Despite COVID-19 social distancing limitations, attendance was estimated to close to normal levels.

Protecting the Force
N.D. National Guard Soldiers and Airmen teamed up to administer COVID-19 tests at the Fargo Air National Guard Base on July 10. 119th Wing members, also known as the Happy Hooligans, were provided the opportunity to be voluntarily tested.
