SUMMER 3D DESIGN CLASS BY: ELISE.B

hi! my name is elise and i am going to tell you how great 3D printing camp was!

My name is Elise. I go to King Arts and I am going into 6th grade. I wanted to come to this 3-D class because I have never used a 3-D printer before and I thought it would be fun to use it. I really liked this one program called Tinkercad. Tinkercad is a program that allows you to create a model in 3-D and then you transport it to the 3-D printer and it makes it for you. I made a chicken, barn, chicken coop, butterfly, crop and 2 eggs. It was very fun. We also used a carving machine where we picked and downloaded a font from a website called Dafont, and then put it in Photoshop and wrote our name then we download it to this program called Easel. Then, we took that design and made the carving machine carve it. We also played this game where we tried to throw a 3-D printed stretchy bracelet into a box and if we got it in, we got the bracelet (everyone gets a bracelet!) I really hope you can come to the 3-D class next year!

I made a chick and an egg. In this picture I was taking the supports off of my chick. Supports are things that the 3D printer makes so that the thing it's making does not fall over.
My Barn (it looks more like the White House! I call it the red house... hehe...) 😜
My smile is soooo cheesy!
This is my screen when I was making my Barn in Tinkercad!
It took me a really long time to take the supports off... it was hard!
It took me like, 10 minutes to take the supports off!

I really I hope I can take the 3D class again next year... it's a lot of fun!!!👋
