I have found a connection between my faith and my co-op experience. Whenever I don't have anything to put at the bottom of my weekly log, under the "describe a new skill/activity," before I could ask anyone they would ask me to first to do something new, when I wake up late for some reason those are also the days with little traffic so I'm able to get downtown on time and I think that's God providing for me. It's also why I believe that since I receive all these blessings I should do good with them and work harder. With regards to my actual work at the hospital, I've seen the ethical issues around medicine first hand and I now understand better the arguments. For example with physician assisted dying, I have gained a better view as to why patients would want it and also why so many others are against it. I also felt really blessed that me, my family and friends are healthy. Everything I learned at co-op also helped shaped me to be a better person, being more understanding, respectful, compassionate, and positive.
