"Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops. Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you? Don't you take it awful hard 'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I'll rise."

The Safe Birthing Programme is expanding!

We are thrilled to announce that the Safe Birthing Programme will be expanding to two locations in 2017. The exact locations will be announced this summer. One thing we can share is that with the expansion we will be able to help hundreds of women receive the prenatal care they need to bring to term healthy babies.

This expansion would have never been possible without the encouragement and donations of our supporters. It is that support that will make our upcoming sites successful as well. Check back soon for updates. For more information of about the Safe Birthing Programme please contact Caitlin Haas, Director of the Safe Birthing Programme.
