In the border city of Inglewood and Lennox lies an upcoming producer that has to balance school and promoting his career. Jessie Gomez, a sophomore at DVC, has been producing beats in search of making a name for himself. While creating beats as a hobby it would soon blossom as a love. No matter where Jessie goes he makes sure that music is always playing so he can find inspiration. “Every single detail matters when making a beat to the sound of the drums to the sound of the ad libs,” said Jessie. While spending time behind a screen he tries to interact with his peers and share his dreams of one day becoming the new Dr.Dre.

As Jessie escapes from reality he begins to listen to the beat while making sure that he doesn’t get distracted from his school work.

Jessie hears the music he begins to analyze the beats and begins to gain inspiration. In his head he begins to repeat the beats and thus begins his journey into making a new beat.

Being inspired by artist like Dr.Dre, Biggie Smalls, and JPEGMAFIA Jessie beings to listen to his favorite songs and begins to sample beats that most fits his personality and music taste.

As Jessie gains inspiration he begins to create beats on SoundTrap. He begins to sample beats and creates a rhythmic melody that would soon turn into an instrumental song.

Although Jessie mainly spends his time behind a screen he is also involved in bettermenting his work in school. Since others mainly see him as an introvert he wants to show others that he will always be there for his peers no matter what.

Walking in the hallways, listening to music, Jessie is greeted by a friend and immediately is filled with happiness and joy.

During lunch Jessie and his friends decide to play catch. While, throwing a baseball to each other they begin to joke, laugh, and catch up on how their day has been going.
