Civil War Battle of Gettysburg and william t. sherman

This battle had the most casualties in a single battle in this war. George G. Meade was one commanders of this war in the US side. Robert E. Lee was the commander of the Confederate side. The Union won this battle ending Lee's attempt to invade the North.
William T. Sherman supported the Union. He was famous for the march to the south making them surrender. He died on February 14, 1891 in New York City, NY.
