A behind the scenes look at the AMYP leadership team!

"Team B is different...Teammates jump in and out of discussions. People interject and complete one another's thoughts. At the end of the meeting, the meeting doesn't actually end: Everyone sits around to gossip and talk about their lives."

The description of “Team B” comes from an article in the New York Times. We are speaking from personal experience when we say our ERG is successful because it’s leadership team is a ‘Team B”.

Our team isn’t satisfied with status quo, we constantly challenge each other and don’t stop collaborating on an idea until it fully represents what we stand for.

Meet the AMYP Leadership Team

Robbie Snider, AINS, AIS

AMYP Founder and Chair

I love being outdoors and being active. Whether it is playing disc golf, hiking, running, or biking I really enjoy just being in the sun. One of my passions is empowering people to believe in themselves and realizing their potential. I think it is important to spread positivity, because negative influences can be contagious and can be detrimental to any group or organization. My main goal for the YP group is making YPs an integrated part of the success at AMIG and having them be the starting point for innovation and culture change.

Co-Chair and Creative Director - Jennifer has been with American Modern for 13 years. She is passionate about innovation and creativity. Her goal is to help YPs think and act outside of the box.

First Job: Arts & Crafts Instructor at Boys and Girls Club of Clermont County.

Krista Gorrasi, M.Ed.

Strategic YP Liaison

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, baking, and spending time with family and friends. I am very passionate about my career in general and need to feel as though I’m making a difference in some way. I’ve recently discovered a genuine interest in a field of study known as positive psychology and, specifically, how this affects people’s happiness in regard to their work. (Google “Shawn Achor” to learn more about this topic.) Because I believe everyone wants to feel as though the work they do is meaningful, I’d like to learn how YPs at American Modern view themselves and help them realize their potential to make a positive impact.

Ayrica Harvey

Director of Operations

I am a graduate of Indiana University – “HOO, HOO, HOO, HOOSIERS!” I have a passion for developing professionally and personally together with others as well as helping others become culturally aware. My goal as the Director of Operations for AMYP is to make sure that we can financially facilitate networking events, provide development books and speaking engagements, pursue community outreach, and then save money for our 2nd Annual Christmas Party in 2017!

Angel Scott, CBCP, CBCA

Director of Professional Development

My passions are creation, implementation of BIG ideas, and helping people reach whatever goal they have in mind. My two biggest loves are my children (Kaylee and Jordyn) and reading. My role for the YP group is to help our YP’s reach their career goal. I want to help them think about what it is they are most passionate about and figure out how to get there.

First Job: Working with my father when he started his own landscaping business. That is where my work ethic and attitude were built. I loved waking up in the morning feeling like I was part of something so significant.

Daniel Malone

Director of Community Involvement

My passions are, Volunteering, reading and music. I'm a big fan of Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks and Indiana University Hoosiers. My goals for AMYP is to promote community involvement in the city of Cincinnati and to create more awareness and presence of AMYP outside of American Modern.

Patric Garlock

Director of Member Engagement

I am a huge sports fan. Notre Dame football, all Cleveland sports and of course Xavier basketball. I love to golf and vacation to a beach. My main goal for AMYP- to give employees a resource to grow personally and professionally through AMIG and other YP sources.
