Budapest summer 2018

I spent a little over a week in Budapest for the Building Bridges Automorphic Forms Conference. These are the pictures from that trip. Please click on the photos for larger versions.

This is the courtyard of the building containing the apartment I rented. It was a great central location and it was so nice having an apartment with a full kitchen.

On my first evening I hiked up to the top of the Citadella for sunset.

I had several opportunities to photograph the National Gallery as it was close to nearly everything I wanted to photograph at night.

I was only able to make one trip up to Castle District and unfortunately it was raining, but I still got some nice photos up close. Other nights I was able to take some from a distance.

Some photos of the Parliament Building.

Chain Bridge is one of the main bridges as well as tourist attractions.

I took the short subway ride to Heroes' Square several times. Located right around there is also the Széchenyi Thermal Bath and the Vajdahunyad Castle. I got to enjoy a dog jumping into the water surrounding the castle to repeatedly retrieve a stick.

Some photos from inside and outside of St. Stephen's Basilica.

Can't visit a new country without a few pics of delicious food!

Some of the delicious foods I enjoyed.

The last set of pictures are just a bunch of miscellaneous ones from around the city.
