Events Leading Up to the Revolutionary War: The boston tea party!☕️

In my cartoon the Boston Tea Party is where it takes place. Men are having a tea party with British tea before they throw it out into the harbor to save their money. This makes them feel strong and powerful but it makes the British and the king super mad!

-In response to the Boston Massacre , Parliament repealed all the taxes on the colonies , except the tax on tea.

-The colonists loved tea but still many boycotted it because of the tax.

-The largest British tea company, the British East India Company , lost a great deal of money. To save the company , parliament passed the Tea Act in 1773!
